Our Cleaning Checklist
These are the confirmed room-by-room tasks Maria's Cleaning Company follows for Regular Cleaning and Deep Cleaning. The detailed checklists apply only to these two services.
Regular Cleaning
- Sweep and mop all floors
- Dust and wipe down surfaces, including tables and shelves
- Clean and dust light fixtures, fans and vents
- Wipe down doors, frames and door handles
- Spot-clean major marks on walls
- Clean and dust houseplants
- Vacuum couches (shampooing and deep upholstery cleaning not included)
- Clean interior sliding doors
- Dust and clean the exterior of appliances
- Wipe down blinds
- Bathrooms: clean and disinfect toilets, empty trash, clean countertops and mirrors, and clean the inside of showers
- Kitchens: clean countertops and islands, clean out pantries or shelves, wipe the refrigerator top and clean appliance surfaces
- Bedrooms: make beds with customer approval
- Laundry rooms: sweep, mop and remove trash
Courtesy if needed: clean up to six dishes and fold up to six articles of clothing.
Deep Cleaning
- Everything in Regular Cleaning, plus:
- Thoroughly clean all baseboards, including laundry-room baseboards
- Tidy and organize bedrooms
- Deep-clean inside the oven and refrigerator
- Spot-clean and organize kitchen and bathroom cabinets
- Sweep the garage
- Clean pet areas
- Clean the inside of windows, their tracks and seals
- Remove spiderwebs on front and back doors
- Clean staircases if necessary
